Chiussi è un progetto di stile che viene da lontano. La sartoria maschile nasce a Udine nel 1868 per volontà di Luigi Chiussi e si afferma immediatamente come punto di riferimento per i clienti della borghesia e della nobiltà del nord est italiano. Un piccolo laboratorio che, nei primi cento anni di storia, annovera nomi di clienti prestigiosi: nobili, politici, letterati, artisti, alti ufficiali del Regno d’Italia. Spiccano nei decenni il Vate: Gabriele D’annunzio, Afro e Mirko Basaldella, Giorgio Albertazzi, Alberto Sordi e Vittorio De Sica, la famiglia Illy e molti altri. Una storia fatta di una ricerca continua e attenta alle evoluzioni tecnologiche nella produzione dei tessuti, che si accompagna in modo inequivocabile a tecniche sartoriali ereditate dal passato: modi di tagliare e cucire che non si ricordano più. orgoglio di padre in figlio. Oggi Chiussi è in tutto il mondo con un progetto è ambizioso. Gli abiti sempre confezionati su misura vengono scelti dal cliente in boutique, la prima prova dopo solo una settimana dall’ordine dei tessuti e la scelta del modello.
