Mark Van Der Loo

SETTE MAGAZINE EN VOGUE. A PASSO DI TANGO SI TROVA IL COMFORT CHIC

I’m one of those who believe that this casual sportswear wave has been catastrofic, even though sometimes I do fall back into it. However, since when nylon replaced cashmere and down jackets replaced paletots, cities are starting to resemble like ski slopes; in northern countries, people have a valid reason to wear body warmer jackets, due to practical and climatic circumstances. It must be said that sometimes those outfits, are being chosen in the hope of looking sexy but often the result is disenchanting. Jeans and jackets can help define your figure, but more often it’s like scoring an own goal. From my point of view, there are other ways of feeling comfortable and sexy.My reference model would be Marlon Brando wearing coat and pullover in Last Tango in Paris. A radiating sensuality style choice, never predictable, and a styling that made history through the pages of men’s fashion magazines.
