Here’s the “newest classic” on the cover. Classic Newest is the screaming headline of one of the two covers of Style Fashion Issue, out yesterday. The protagonist of the classic-formal part of the issue is Claudio Santamaria, photographed by Rankin. The headline refers particularly to the cover shoot, a Prada total look: a mix of menswear and mensfashion. The union of formal and trend. Starting from the shoes: a trendy reinterpretation of the classic brogue with a contrasting rubber sole. And then, the trousers have a traditional shape but are made of cotton and nylon. The coat is made of wool gabardine, suitable for the taste of a traditional man that -however- wants something more: the peak lapels, that reminds vaguely the 20s, satisfies the desire of the “fashion detail”. The khaki shirt breaks the grey shades, and the mastic grey tie is the trait d’union with trousers and shoes. Claudio Santamaria wearing Prada, in a backstage shot by Rankin, for Style Fashion Issue.
